About us

My Story
The ReadySetGreen story officially kicked off in 2024, but to be real—it’s been brewing for a lifetime. As a kid, while everyone else was busy enjoying the view on mountain hikes, I was the one picking up litter, wondering why no one else seemed to care. Fast forward a bit, and I was knee-deep in volunteering—cleaning up entire regions in Romania, helping build homes for those who needed them, and realizing that looking away was never my thing. Blame my mom (thanks, mom). She made sure I knew that doing nothing was never an option. That if you walk through life without making things just a little better than you found them, you’re doing it wrong. And honestly? She was right.

I was also the kid who couldn’t sit still. Gymnastics, judo, motorcycle racing, snowboarding, skydiving… if it involved adrenaline and a bit of risk, I was all in. Sports weren’t just a hobby, but my way of proving to myself that limits were meant to be pushed. And somewhere along the way, I realized something: pushing myself and pushing the planet over the edge are two very different things. Why should breaking personal records come at the cost of breaking the Earth? For me, sports and sustainability have always been teammates—you train harder, get better, and leave the world a little less wrecked in the process.

Here’s the thing—I’ve never been great at sitting back and pretending problems don’t exist. Injustice? Can’t stand it. Wasted opportunities? Nope. Watching the planet get trashed while people act like it’s someone else’s problem? Don’t even get me started. So, I did something about it. From launching platforms for green vehicles to running PR for the world’s leading electric motorcycle brand, I’ve spent my career pushing sustainability forward. But it’s not enough to talk about change—we have to make it happen.
So, here we are. ReadySetGreen. A marketplace built for people who actually give a d*mn. A mission to make sustainability second nature. A push to prove that sports, adventure, and an eco-friendly mindset can (and should) go hand in hand.
Game on. Let’s do this.

The RSG Story
Sports change lives—they push limits, build communities, and inspire something bigger than ourselves. But here’s the million-dollar question: why should playing the sports we love mean trashing the planet we need? That’s why I started ReadySetGreen. Not just to sell sustainable gear (though, yes, that’s cool), but to kickstart a movement. A movement of athletes, adventurers, and everyday movers who don’t just push their own limits—but refuse to push the planet over the edge. You might be running marathons, hiking trails, or just walking your dog in Climate Karen-approved sneakers, you always have a choice. A choice to shop smarter, move greener, and make sustainability second nature.
1. Transparency
You deserve to know what you’re buying, where it’s from, and why it’s better for the planet. At RSG, we don’t do secrets or greenwashing—just straight-up facts. Because if we’re going to fix this mess, it starts with honesty. And Karen won’t have it any other way.
2. Responsibility
Responsibility isn’t optional—it’s mandatory. Every product we sell supports brands that are actually making a difference, whether that’s cutting carbon emissions, reducing waste, or figuring out how to exist without screwing over the planet. When you shop with us, you’re not just buying better—you’re backing a movement.
3. Improvement
Perfection is overrated, and honestly, no one’s there just yet. RSG is all about putting in the work to get better every day. We’re always looking for ways to push boundaries and raise the bar, because settling for ‘good enough’ isn’t our thing. Or Karen’s.

Enter Climate Karen
And then there’s Climate Karen. Oh, Karen. She’s the cynical voice of reason behind RSG. Think of her as the coach you didn’t know you needed but absolutely can’t escape. She’s here to roast your bad habits, celebrate your wins, and keep you on track. Karen’s not here to coddle you—she’s here to push you. Whether it’s reminding you to ditch single-use plastics or calling you out for driving to the gym (seriously?), she’s the no-nonsense motivator we all need. Love her, hate her—either way, she’s not going anywhere.
